If you have any problems with a mouse-type manipulator used in personal computers, do not rush to throw it away. Fixing a wired "mouse" for a computer is usually not difficult. The main thing is to properly disassemble and assemble the device so that there are no unnecessary parts left.
It is necessary
Napkin, knife, scissors, Phillips screwdriver, duct tape or tape
Instructions
Step 1
In the overwhelming majority of cases, the reason for the malfunction of the "mouse" is a break in the wires in the cable connecting the mouse to the computer. Prepare a napkin, knife, Phillips screwdriver, and duct tape.
Step 2
Before disassembling, turn off the "mouse", wipe it from the outside with a napkin. Unscrew the device and remove the top cover. After unscrewing the screws, slide the cover back and up slightly. No force is needed, the operation should be easy.
Step 3
If you find a problem with the cable, fix it. Insulate the wires. Insert the wire back into the mouse retainer. Make sure the wire does not interfere with moving parts (wheel and buttons). Also, the wire should not fall into the grooves and on the edge of the case.
Step 4
Insert the front of the cover into the grooves and connect the cover to the bottom. Fasten the cover with the screw (s). Turn the screws counterclockwise twice before tightening them to help get into the threads.
Step 5
With the computer turned off, connect a mouse to it, boot the machine and check the operation of the manipulator. The matter is simplified if the "mouse" is connected via USB, you do not need to turn off the computer. Congratulations, you just managed to disassemble and, importantly, correctly assemble the "mouse" on your own.
