Usually, special programs are used to work with ISO images. Unfortunately, they are only suitable for reading information from disk images, but not for connecting them into a single whole.
Necessary
- - Total Commander;
- - 7z;
- - Daemon Tools.
Instructions
Step 1
If you want to "glue" disk images into one file, then use the Total Commander program. It has a built-in archiver that allows you to work with ISO files. Open the contents of the images in different windows of this file manager. Create an additional folder inside the image to which you will add the second ISO. If you just copy all the data to the root directory, some programs may not work correctly afterwards.
Step 2
Copy all information from the second image to the created folder. As a result, you will receive a finished ISO file containing information from both images. Please note that the size of this image may be significantly larger than the size of the DVD. In this case, you will not be able to record all the necessary data on one disc.
Step 3
If you need to create a DVD with both images, then use Nero Burning Rom. Run this utility and select DVD-Rom (ISO). After opening a new tab "Multisession" select the required option. If you are creating a bootable disc, then it is better to disable the ability to add files after burning.
Step 4
Click the New button and wait for the new menu to appear. Now transfer both ISO files to the left window of the program. Click the "Record" button. Configure the settings for the disc to be burned. Define the characteristics you want for ISO files by setting or removing restrictions. Click the Burn button and wait for this process to complete.
Step 5
To combine ISO files into a single archive, you can burn their contents to disc and create a new image. This method can be used if you are not able to use archivers or other described programs. Please note that this approach is costly and time consuming.
