Pocket computers and smartphones or communicators equated to them have long become a common tool of a business person, a notebook and entertainment in minutes and hours of waiting. A variety of programs allows you to widely use the capabilities of digital assistants, from simple "reminders" to pocket versions of office suites. PDAs are limited in the amount of RAM and not all of it is available for user programs. There are several ways to increase it on mobile computers.

Step 1
The most radical way is to contact a workshop to replace the memory chips with more capacious ones. This is the most expensive and time consuming option, but also the most effective if successful. The procedure is not possible on all models of devices. The workshop will advise you on your particular model.
Step 2
An easier solution to the problem is to close unnecessary programs. Click Start> System> Task Manager. A window will appear with a list of active applications and the amount of memory they are using. Select the processes that are not necessary for you at the moment, and click "Close". This will increase the speed of the main program at the cost of not saving the current solitaire, minimized but not closed. Sometimes this is more than enough.
Step 3
The next optimization step at the stage of enabling the PDA is to disable startup applications. Click Start> System> Startup. Remove all programs from this menu, or at least critically review their list and remove some of them. The startup speed of the machine will increase.
Step 4
If you have the necessary skills, launch Registry Editor from the System menu. You can safely disable the windows live service, the error reporting system, the Bluetooth HID Loader service (allows you to work with a wireless mouse or keyboard that you most likely do not use).
