Instructions

Step 1

Disconnect power from the system unit and monitor before starting cleaning. It is better not only to turn off the computer itself, but also to unplug the plug from the outlet. Remember the safety precautions and never touch the wires with wet hands.

Step 2

Clean your monitor. You can remove stains with wet wipes or special products that can be found in stores. Also use a simple terry cloth or eyeglass cloth. Do not use alcohol to clean the monitor, as this may damage the special anti-reflective coating.

Step 3

Proceed to cleaning the keyboard. You can even remove the buttons to rinse the device more thoroughly. Memorize or photograph the location of the buttons in advance, so that you do not have to collect this mosaic at random. After removing all buttons from the keyboard, put them in a plastic bag, fill it with water, adding a little powder. Then shake the bag and rinse each key with water. Never pour water on the keyboard itself, otherwise it will fail. Also wipe the mouse with a rubbing alcohol or cloth.

Step 4

Proceed to the most difficult and crucial step - cleaning the system unit. If before that you have never disassembled the system unit and did not look inside, then it is better not to touch it and contact a specialist. If you decide to independently clean the block from dirt, first of all remove one side wall, this will allow you to get to the insides of the computer. Take a vacuum cleaner with a brush, go thoroughly around all corners of the device. Be careful and careful: the motherboard contains many small parts that you shouldn't touch. Pay special attention to the fan: usually it is the most overgrown with dust. For easier cleaning, remove the hard drive, sound card, and video card. After bringing the required cleanliness, put everything in place.
