If you work with art brushes in Photoshop, you probably ran into the problem of how monotonous they look when you draw a line. You can bring these brushes to life if you learn how to work and customize them correctly.
Necessary
- - computer
- - Adobe Photoshop program
- - Graphics tablet
Instructions
Step 1
Choose the brush you want to work with.
Step 2
Now press F5 to open the brush settings menu. You will see quite a few items that you can tweak. Most of them only work if you are using a graphics tablet. So, you need to rotate the corner of the brush. This function can be configured in the "Shape Dynamics" column. By selecting it, you will see several sliders and drop-down lists. Size Jitter controls the size of the brush, Roundness Jitter controls the rotation in the plane, and Angle Jitter controls the angle of rotation of the brush. You should adjust this parameter by moving the slider. Also check Pen Pressure in the list so that the angle of rotation depends on the degree of pressing the pen on the tablet. Or, if using a mouse, put Fade.
Step 3
As you can see, the angle of rotation of the brush now changes depending on the direction of movement and the pressure of the pen on the tablet.
