The brush in the graphics editor Photoshop is a handy tool with a lot of custom settings. In particular, by changing several parameters, the brush can be rotated at any angle. Like many things in Photoshop, there are several ways to accomplish this task.

Step 1
Click on the tool button Brush Tool ("Brush") in the tool palette. Select the type of brush by clicking on the arrow in the Brush panel ("Brush"), which can be seen under the main menu. Select the desired brush shape from the drop-down list. Open the Brush tool preferences. This can be done by clicking on the Brushes tab in the upper right side of the Photoshop window above the Navigator palette. You can call the preferences window using the Brushes command from the Window menu or by pressing the F5 key. In the Brush Preferences panel, click on the Brush Tip Shape tab.

If you need to flip the brush horizontally, check the Flip X checkbox. You can make the brush of your choice flip vertically by checking the Flip Y checkbox, and as you hover over the document you are about to work with, you will notice how the brush has changed.

If the cursor does not even think to take the shape of a tool, go to the program settings. This is done using the Preferences command from the Edit menu. Select Display & Cursors from the drop-down list of settings in the window that opens and click on Normal Brush Tip or Full Size Brush Tip. Click the OK button. Now you can follow the shape of the cursor as the brush changes.
Step 4
To rotate the brush at any angle, enter a numerical value for the angle in the Angle field. If this method does not seem intuitive to you, use the mouse to rotate the sketch of the brush tip in the window located to the right of the "Angle" field. In the same settings window, you can simulate the tilt of the brush "away from you." Change the numeric value in the Roundness field for this. By default, this value is one hundred percent. To achieve the same effect, you can use the mouse to tilt the sketch of the brush tip in the same window where you adjusted the rotation. Usually this transformation is used to simulate perspective.
