If you want to give a certain area of the photo a black and white shade, you can use the capabilities of the graphics editor Adobe Photoshop. This application will allow you to change the photo almost beyond recognition. It should be noted that you do not need to have the skills of working with the program to perform all the actions.
Necessary
Computer, graphic editor Adobe Photoshop
Instructions
Step 1
The simplest tool in Adobe Photoshop to change the color of an image is Color Swap. The user sets the desired brush parameters, after which he performs further actions to process the image. What steps do you need to take to make a part of the photo black and white?
Step 2
Before you can access a photo decoration in the program, you need to open it in the Adobe Photoshop application. Today there are two ways to accomplish this action. The first method involves opening a photo through the interface of the application itself (the user needs to execute the commands in the program: "File" - "Open", and then load the picture). The second way involves opening a photo through image properties. Click on the photo with the right mouse button, then select the "Open with" function. Next, you need to go to the program selection by clicking the corresponding link in the window that opens. After selecting the photoshop application, open the photo.
Step 3
After opening the photo, select the area on it that you want to make in black and white. As a selection tool, you can use both the "rectangular area" and the "magic wand", or the "magnetic lasso". After selecting the desired area of the photo, activate the tool "Replace Color" (this tool is in the category of brushes).
Step 4
After color swap is activated, select black from the color settings menu. Process the selected area. It should be noted that the tool will not change the color of the part of the photo that is outside the boundaries of the selection.
Step 5
After the desired part of the photo becomes black and white, you need to save the changes by choosing the appropriate command in the "File" menu.
