Pinnacle Studio is a video editing software. It allows you to edit video files with various sizes and recording formats, which are also called footages.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare Pinnacle Studio for editing footage by customizing the toolbar and selecting the desired special effects in advance. Open the track edit menu and go to the Open-Close Video Toolkit section. Select the tools and effects you want. The most essential of these are the Studio Plus RTFX effect as well as the HFX filter. Click OK for the accepted changes to take effect.
Step 2
Go to the HFX filter editing menu, after which the Hollywood FX plug-in window will appear on the screen, which performs the operations for editing filters in Pinnacle Studio. Open the File menu, then choose New to create a new project. In the field that opens on the screen, move the pointer down until you see Simple. Double click on it and select Flat 01 from the two sub-items that appear.
Step 3
Drag Flat 01 to the Camera icon using the mouse. Select the Host Video option and click on the folder icon at the top. You will see a dialog box asking you to select a footage file. Specify its location on your hard disk or removable media. Click OK and on the cross to close the program. Refuse to save the changes made in the dialog box that appears. Specify the required duration of footage playback by deleting unnecessary pictures. You can also stretch the recording with the mouse cursor.
Step 4
Please note that some footage formats are not supported by Pinnacle Studio. Use a third-party video conversion software to set the file extension supported by the application. Then launch Pinnacle Studio and open the footage for editing using the steps above.
