Step 1
Don't forget about opportunities and limitations. First of all, your character is mortal: he has a limited supply of lives and air in underwater episodes - a decrease in the indicator to zero means the death of the hero and will throw you back to the nearest checkpoint. However, these "frames" are compensated by opportunities like double jump and the ability to climb walls. Try not to forget about this, because often the use of these perks is the only way to complete the level.
Step 2
Collect bonuses. You will spend most of the game as Scrat's saber-toothed squirrel, and therefore picking nuts will become one of your main activities. After collecting a certain number of these, you can get a higher rank for passing the level and open additional materials, but this is not the most important thing. The main goal of the collection is not to get lost on the road: nuts always show the path you should follow in order to reach the end of the level and the boss.
Step 3
Look for a personal touch with bosses. Fighting against the most powerful enemy at the level is not limited to a simple "invocation": each leader is a small puzzle that you have to solve. You should look for the enemy's weak points. By carefully observing his behavior, you will quickly notice that from time to time the enemy gives you the opportunity to hit yourself - and this opportunity should be taken advantage of.
Step 4
Listen carefully to the intermediate clips. In them, the heroes explain the purpose of your actions at the next level. Sometimes everything is quite obvious - to go to point A in order to save the character X. However, the game very often gives the gamer intermediate tasks (like guessing the order of hippos), which are not easy to understand right away.
Step 5
Watch the video walkthrough. If for some reason you get lost or do not know how to solve the problem, use the videos with the game walkthrough. For example, on the site Youtube.ru there are two options for the complete passage of the game: you just need to find a suitable part of the video and repeat everything that happens in the video.
