Step 1

The easiest way. If the picture is already open in the image editor (for example, by the standard Microsoft Office Picture Manager), we perform the following sequence of actions: “file-save as”, select the folder where we would like to save the image and press the “save” button. In the future, you can use the picture at your own discretion.

Step 2

You can, without opening the picture on the flash drive, just right-click on it and select "copy". Then we find the place where we would like to save the picture, right-click and select "paste". Everything, the image is on your computer.

Step 3

Step 4

You can also use the keyboard to copy images: open the image, press the key combination Ctrl + C, then open the Microsoft Word program and press Ctrl + V. Then we adjust the picture to the desired size. Everything is an image in your report or research paper. Using the same scheme, you can save the desired image from the Internet browser. But the keyboard method can only be used to insert images into another program - Microsoft Word or Adobe Photoshop.

Step 5

Different image viewing programs have their own peculiarities of copying images. Pay attention to this. If it is not possible to execute "file-save as", there should be a floppy disk icon (when you click on it, the copying sequence is the same).

Step 6

In Total Commander - in one window, select the source disk with the desired image (for example, a USB flash drive), in the other - the save location. Select the desired file with the mouse by clicking on it with the left mouse button once and press F5.
