The Mozilla Firefox browser history contains all the information about the pages you visit on the Internet. Despite the great advantages of this option, it has one significant drawback - any user can find out about your actions on the Internet. To prevent this from happening, the log can be easily cleared.

Instructions
Step 1
To delete the list of visited pages, launch the Mozilla Firefox web browser, go to the "History" menu and select "Show entire history". A window with a list of records has opened in front of you, select them all by simultaneously pressing the Ctrl and A (English) keys. Then enter the "Management" menu and select "Delete". After completing these steps, your log will be completely cleared.
Step 2
To automatically delete the history when you exit the browser, go to the "Tools" menu, click on the "Options" section and check the box next to the "Clear history when Firefox is closed". In this case, in the "Parameters" section, you can independently select the objects to be deleted. These can be both visited pages and saved passwords.
Step 3
Set the period for deleting the list of visited pages. To do this, in the "Privacy" section, specify the required number of days for the option "Remember browsing history at least..". After this period, Mozilla Firefox will clear the log of old information.
Step 4
If you do not have time to dig into the browser settings or you are just too lazy to do this, select the private browsing mode in it. You can do this by clicking on the "Enter Private Browsing Mode" item in the "Tools" menu. When working in this mode, Mozilla Firefox will not save any information about the sites you visit, searches, downloads and many other actions you take.
Step 5
When you need to hide visits to only some sites, use the convenient option that allows you not to display a specific site in the log. It is located in the "Journal" - "Show entire journal" section. Right-click on the desired site and select "Forget about this site" in the context menu that appears. After that, traces of being on it will not be visible in the journal.
