Instructions
Step 1
Before starting the search, remember that your interlocutor must be registered in the Skype system. This is a must, otherwise you won't find anyone. Connect to the Internet and run the program.
Step 2
Log in to the system using your username and wait for the Skype dialog box to open. If the application is already active, open its window from the notification area on the taskbar by double-clicking on the corresponding icon with the left mouse button.
Step 3
To call the search form, you can use either buttons or commands in the menu. Explore the application interface. There is an Add a contact button on the left side of the window. It is duplicated by the command in the top menu bar. Click on Contacts and select the first command, Add a contact, from the context menu.
Step 4
A new dialog box will open. You can search for the right person by four parameters: his email address, phone number, full name or nickname under which the person is registered in the Skype system. It is not necessary to fill in all the fields, you can use only one parameter for the search.
Step 5
Enter the information you have in the appropriate field and move the mouse cursor over the Add button, or just wait a few seconds. In order not to go through the various options at random, ask the person you want to add to your list in advance what nickname he uses in the Skype system - this will make it easier to find him.
Step 6
When the list of matches generated by your request expands, click on the icon of the person you wanted to find with the left mouse button. An additional dialog box will open, click on the Add button in it and send a request to add the found user to the list of your contacts using the Send request button.
