Deleted Outlook emails can cause serious personal and business problems. Deleted mail recovery can be performed using standard Microsoft tools with minimal involvement of third-party software.
Instructions
Step 1
Create a backup copy of the PST file - a repository of all emails, tasks, appointments and other information in Microsoft Outlook for possible recovery.
Step 2
Start the HEX editor and open the saved PST file in it.
Step 3
Pay attention to the line Adr. hex at the bottom left of the table in the editor window. This line shows the number of the cell you are in.
Step 4
Select cells 7 through 13 in the right table of the editor window to perform the zeroing operation.
Step 5
Right-click on the field of the selected cell number 7 in the table on the right side of the editor window and press the "Space" key.
Step 6
Repeat this procedure for cells 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13.
Step 7
Check the correctness of the actions performed - in the right table of the editor window, the cells should be zeroed, and the value 20 will appear in the left.

Save the modified PST file.
Step 9
Find the SCANPST. EXE utility supplied by Microsoft when installing Outlook at C: / Program Files / Common Files / System / MSMAPI / 1033 / SCANPST. EXE and run it.
Step 10
Click the Browse button and browse to the saved PST file.
Step 11
Click the Start button to scan the selected PST file.
Step 12
Wait for a dialog box with a message about the completion of scanning to appear and click the Repair button to recover deleted emails.
Step 13
Wait for the dialog box to appear informing you that the recovery process is complete and check your mail.
