Like a regular desktop computer, a laptop needs good ventilation inside the case, which is achieved through the built-in coolers and vents in the case. By restricting air access to these vents, it is easy to overheat your laptop, causing it to shut down.
Instructions
Step 1
Do not be surprised if, after putting the laptop next to you in bed, after a while you find that it shut down by itself - most likely the processor warmed up to a critical temperature and gave an emergency shutdown command to the system. This can happen due to insufficient cooling, since the ventilation holes are usually located at the bottom of the laptop case, and if they are blocked for a long time, overheating occurs.
Step 2
So how do you bring a laptop back to life that was turned off in this way? If it's cold outside, put it on a windowsill with a window slightly open, and if this happened in a hot season, you will have to direct a fan to the laptop. If an air conditioner is installed in the room, keep the laptop under cool air for a few minutes. Alternatively, you can take a tire inflator or air mattress and blow out the air vents - this will solve another problem by removing dust, which can also cause the laptop to heat up quickly. In any case, after a few minutes, the computer will return to working state.
Step 3
In order not to deal with the return to life of an overheated laptop in the future, follow the simple rules for using a laptop: do not put it for a long time on a surface that blocks access to ventilation and do not place the laptop in a confined space with a high air temperature. If you often use your laptop in bed, buy a stand with passive or active ventilation to keep your computer from overheating. As a last resort, use any wooden plank so that there is always air access to the bottom of the laptop.
