Almost every program provides a help desk. The Application Resource Usage Guide makes it much easier for the user to get acquainted with the program, helps to quickly get all the necessary information in difficult situations. But the program also needs to be able to ask questions.

Step 1
To access the program, you need to call the help. For easier user orientation, the interface of most programs is similar. Press the F1 key on your keyboard and wait for the help service to load. If nothing happened, in the top line of the program menu, click on the "Help", "Help" button or the icon with a question mark symbol. In the drop-down menu, select the item "Manual", "Help", "Help" or any other item, which in its meaning implies a call to the help desk.

The standard help desk windows in different programs also have a similar look. As a rule, the user is asked to either find the answer to his question in the necessary sections on his own, or use the search field. Choose the method of obtaining information that is convenient for you by navigating through the help using the mouse or keys on the keyboard.

If you decide to use the search box, remember the basic principles of working with search engines. The search for information in the database of any reference service is done by keywords. The search is not case-sensitive or punctuation-sensitive, so enter your keyword without quotes, without any commas, or question marks. Write a word with any letter - it does not matter whether it is uppercase or uppercase.
Step 4
Try to think logically when defining your keyword. Choose the one that more fully reflects the essence of your problem. For example, if you are wondering how to turn off Sticky Keyboard Keys, you don't need to write the entire question "How do I turn off Sticky Keys on my keyboard?" Enter only the keyword. In this case, it will be "sticking".
Step 5
Press the Enter key or click on the "Search" button ("Find", "Find"). Wait while the program processes your request. From the generated list of matches for the key query, select the topic that best suits your problem in meaning. Topics are most often presented as links. Click on the name of the selected topic with the left mouse button to read the full text of the tips on the question you are interested in.
