User Account Control in Microsoft Windows is designed to prevent unauthorized changes from being made to the OS.
Instructions
Step 1
Call the main menu of the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system by clicking the "Start" button and go to the "Control Panel" item to perform the operation to disable the User Account Control function.
Step 2
Expand the User Accounts node and select Enable or Disable User Account Control.
Step 3
Confirm your authority by entering your administrator password in the system prompt that opens and uncheck the box next to "Use User Account Control (UAC) to protect your computer".
Step 4
Confirm the execution of the command by clicking OK and restart the computer to apply the selected changes.
Step 5
Return to the main Start menu for the alternative procedure for disabling User Account Control and go to Run.
Step 6
Enter the value msconfig in the "Open" field and confirm the execution of the console launch command by clicking OK.
Step 7
Specify the "System Configuration" item and go to the "Service" tab of the dialog box that opens.
Step 8
Select Disable User Account Control (UAC) and click the Start button.
Step 9
Restart your computer to apply the selected changes and return to the main Start menu again to perform the operation to disable the selected function in the following way.

Enter regedit in the search text box and confirm the command by clicking the Find button.
Step 11
Call the context menu of the found element regedit.exe by clicking the right mouse button and select the command "Run as administrator".
Step 12
Expand the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / Software / Microsoft / Windows | CurrentVersion / Policies / System and change the value of the EnableLUA parameter to 0.
Step 13
Return to the main Start menu and enter cmd in the test search field for the next procedure to disable User Account Control.
Step 14
Confirm the execution of the command by clicking the "Find" button and call the context menu of the found element cmd.exe by clicking the right mouse button.
Step 15
Specify the Run as administrator command and enter the following value in the Windows command interpreter text box:

Step 16
Confirm the execution of the command to disable the function by pressing the Enter key.
