Almost any modern PDA supports video playback. However, not every movie is suitable for viewing. In order to watch videos on a PDA, you first need to optimize them, and then load them into the device's memory.
Instructions
Step 1
Find out what video formats are supported by your device and find out in what format the movie that you want to record in the PDA and view on it is recorded. If this format is not supported, then this video must be converted. For this procedure, use special software, for example, Any Video Converter, which can be downloaded for free from the official website. Install this application on your computer and run it.
Step 2
Load the movie you plan to convert into the program using the "Add video" button. After that, set the final file format, which should be supported by your PDA. For best results, encode your movie in.mkv,.mpg, or.avi formats. If you are not sure if your Pocket PC supports these video formats, use the "Mobile MPEG-4 Video" setting, which will create a.mp4 file in Any Video Converter. It is playable by most PDAs and mobile phones. Having installed all the options, specify the destination folder for saving the movie and click the "Encode" button. After a while, a movie will appear in the folder you specified, which can be transferred to the PDA.
Step 3
Connect the PDA to a personal computer, or insert the flash card from it into a card reader connected to the computer. Copy the converted video file to the Videos folder on your phone's flash drive. Then insert it back (or disconnect the phone from the computer), go to the folder with video files and play the movie you just recorded.
