The task of renaming applications on the iPhone is not among the most popular and demanded by the majority of users, but it does not become impossible from this. Carrying out the operation will require full access to the device's files and therefore a jailbreak and a little vigilance.

- - iFunBox (for computers running OS WIndows);
- - iFile (for computers running Mac OS)
Instructions
Step 1
Connect your iPhone to your computer with a connecting cord and launch the program of the selected file manager.
Step 2
Expand the Applications folder and select the application to be renamed (for preinstalled system applications).
Step 3
Expand the selected folder and locate the folder containing the required files with the extension.lproj. (Russian localization - InfoPlist.strings).
Step 4
Enter the desired value for the application name in the CFBundleDisplayName = field and confirm the rename by re-entering the selected name in the CFBundlename field.
Step 5
Save your changes and disconnect the device from your computer.
Step 6
Restart iPhone to apply the selected changes.
Step 7
Use the file manager program installed on the device to perform an alternative application rename operation without connecting to a computer.
Step 8
Navigate to the path: // var / Mobile / Applications and select the folder of the application to be renamed with the extension.app.
Step 9
Expand the en.proj folder and then InfoPlist.strings and enter the desired application name value in the CFBundleDisplayName field.
Step 10
Save your changes and reboot the device.
Step 11
Use the Icon Renamer program, available from the Cydia app store, to make it easy to complete the task of renaming the desired app.
Step 12
Download a tweak that does not have an icon on the iPhone screen and hold down the icon of the application to be renamed until the system switches to move mode. This action will bring up a new Rename Icon dialog box.
Step 13
Enter the desired value for the application name and click the Apply button to apply the selected changes.
