Modern video cameras have the ability to superimpose subtitles on the image. If you are not satisfied with the size of the text in the subtitles, you can change it. To do this, change the viewing settings in the player, or use special programs.
Instructions
Step 1
Follow this link - https://k-lite-codec.com/, in the upper right corner, click the "Download" icon. In a few minutes the “K-Lite Codec Pack” program will be downloaded to your personal computer. It supports most video formats, and contains a media player with which you can enlarge subtitles while watching.
Step 2
After downloading the program, install it. After installation, go to the "Settings" menu and select support for all formats for playing video files. To do this, check the boxes in front of each format suggested by the program. Then restart your computer.
Step 3
Go to the folder that contains the desired video file. Right-click on it, select "Open with the program …". A window will appear on the monitor, which will show all applications installed on your computer.
Step 4
Select the previously installed K-Lite Codec Pack. If there is no program in the list, add it manually. To do this, click the "Browse" button, in the directory that appears, go to the "Program Files" folder, the folder will contain the program icon. Select it and click "OK".
Step 5
Run the subtitle video file in the K-Lite Codec Pack. When the recording starts playing, click the "Pause" button, open the "Play" menu item in the upper toolbar, then "Subtitle settings". In the window that appears, specify the desired subtitle size and color. Increase the size and color parameters until they are clearly perceived by your eyesight. When adjusting the color, do not use bright ones, white is preferable, since such subtitles are most clearly visible on the screen and do not merge with the overall picture.
Step 6
After configuring the parameters, click the "Apply" button. Now, when viewing any recording with subtitles, the player will automatically include the parameters you have set.
