The procedure for removing Linux partitions followed by removing the system itself can be divided into two stages. First, you need to delete all partitions on the hard disk and format them to the FAT file system, and then uninstall the boot loader itself from the MBR partition of the hard disk.

Step 1
Run the utility from the application menu. In the tabs at the top of the window, select your hard drive you are using. The structure of your repository will be displayed at the top. After each change made, the structure will be updated and displayed until the changed markup table is written.
Step 2
Click the left mouse button on the corresponding disk partition. Some partitions must first be unmounted using the corresponding button.
Step 3
After unmounting the partition, select "Format" and select "FAT" from the list of suggested file systems. Do the same for the remaining partitions, although you can use the Delete command for the / home directory.
Step 4
Confirm all changes made to the partition table and click "OK".
Step 5
Place your system's LiveCD into the floppy drive and restart your computer. After the system boots automatically, go to the Terminal ("Menu" - "Applications" - "Standard" - "Terminal").
Step 6
To remove the MBR bootloader entry run the command “sudo fdisk / mbr”. The computer is now ready to install the new operating system.
