There is no such risk when downloading movies via torrents. However, the low speed of the Internet connection makes it impossible to quickly watch the long-awaited movie. In both cases, it will be useful to view the downloaded file with a media player.

Step 1
If you are downloading a movie using DC or its modifications, open the download folder and find the file with the dctmp extension in it. This expansion is temporary. DC based programs put it on all downloadable files during download. When the movie is finished downloading, the file will be assigned its "native" extension - avi, mp4, mkv, etc.
Step 2
To view an incomplete movie, create a copy of the download file. Forcibly rename it with the original extension. Open the file using any media player installed on the system.

If you are using a torrent client to download movies, you do not need to rename the files. Torrent clients, as a rule, do not forcibly assign temporary extensions to files being processed. Go to your download folder and find the swinging movie. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to watch a movie that has not been downloaded by the torrent client, since the file is downloaded in separate parts, and the installed media player may display an error message when it is played. In this case, install another player that can read corrupted video files. For example, Potplayer, The KMPlayer or VLC Player.
Step 4
Using the VLC Player, you can watch unfinished movies without making copies of the downloaded files. However, a conflict often arises as the downloader and media player cannot use the same file at the same time. Access is blocked regardless of what program you download movies - DC or torrent client. However, there is nothing wrong with it. After previewing the downloaded file, simply restart the download.
