It so happens that you are watching a movie and you really liked a song from some fragment. You do not know who the performer is, there is nowhere to download the soundtrack album for this film. What to do? You can simply cut the fragment you like from the soundtrack of the movie using a special video editor.
Instructions
Step 1
Download and install Virtual Dub on your personal computer to be able to highlight the soundtrack of a movie. After the program is installed, launch it. Then, either using the "Open" menu item, or through the "Explorer", move the desired movie to the working area of the program.
Step 2
Set the boundaries of the selection of the desired fragment. To do this, move the slider located at the bottom of the program window to the frame corresponding to the beginning of the selected fragment. If you downloaded a non-Russified program, then so that the sound track was marked in the right place, do the following. Press the Home key, then select the Edit menu item and Set Selection Start. Notice that a check mark appears below the slider to indicate the start of the selection.
Step 3
Move the slider to the frame corresponding to the end of the indicated fragment. Press the End button on the keyboard, then from the Edit menu select Set selection End. In the same way as in the first case, a corresponding mark will appear in the slider area. Then start the audio stream processing mode. To do this, select the Audio menu item, and in it - Full Processing Mode. Then specify the appropriate audio stream encoder.
Step 4
To do this, go to the Audio and Compression items. Specify the encoding format and compression level of the audio signal. Apply one of the installed audio codecs and click OK. Then save the audio track. Give her a name. It will be saved in Wave format, which you can later compress into any other format if you wish.
Step 5
Use a sound editor to cut the audio track. When you load a movie into the workspace of the sound editor, only the audio track will be loaded, from which you can later cut the desired fragment and save it in any format convenient for you.
