Kaspersky Anti-Virus is one of the most popular programs for protecting your computer from viruses and various attacks. It not only recognizes malware, but also disinfects infected files.

Step 1
It happens that users install substandard or unlicensed programs on their computer. It may make many user tasks easier and save money, but trusting unknown developers can negatively impact the performance and security of your own computer. Kaspersky Anti-Virus warns about this in time. As soon as you start downloading a malicious (in his opinion) program, the antivirus tries to block your action. If you decide to ignore Kaspersky's warning, click the "Skip" button on the warning window that instantly appears when the anti-virus detects a malicious program. Kaspersky will allow you to download / install the file, but it will monitor its work and regularly warn you about possible dangers.
Step 2
If you want to disable Kaspersky Anti-Virus for a long time, run the following commands. Right-click on the Kaspersky icon, which is located in the lower right part of the screen next to the clock. In the context menu that opens, click the "Settings" option.
Step 3
Here is how to configure general protection settings for Kaspersky. On the left is a list of options that you can configure at the moment. Select the "Parameters" item.
Step 4
By default, Kaspersky Anti-Virus uses self-defense, that is, the system constantly checks its work and potential threats. Uncheck the "Enable Self-Defense" box. Confirm your actions by clicking "Apply" and then "OK". Antivirus protection is disabled. Be extremely careful when working on the Internet or with unfamiliar storage media: your computer is now vulnerable.
Step 5
If you want to temporarily disable Kaspersky Anti-Virus, right-click on the antivirus icon located on the bottom panel of your monitor. In the menu that opens, select "Exit". Confirm your decision by clicking "OK".
