Photoshop provides not only work with images, but also with text. You can add a name to the photo, correct, change the color, size and style of letters, for this you just need to know the basics of working with this program.

Instructions
Step 1
Open the photo in the program or create a new document. On the left, on the toolbar, find the "T" icon, click on it. Thus, you activate the font typesetting tool, and the text will be created immediately on a new layer.
Step 2
To start writing text in a certain place in the photo, click on it with the left mouse button. If you need to insert large text, left-click in the upper left corner, and while continuing to hold, stretch the resulting rectangle to the desired size. To resize this area, use the anchor keys (arrows in the corners).
Step 3
Before you start typing, select a size and font. To do this, at the top, find the horizontal line with the settings, in it select the appropriate text parameters. Please note: it is better to set the font size before the start of the letter, otherwise it will return to its original size.
Step 4
Write the desired text or paste it using the Ctrl + V keys. If you want to correct the previously written text, find the corresponding layer in the Layers palette or make sure it is open, then activate the "T" tool. Please note that if you, while in another layer, press "T", the program will automatically create a new text.
Step 5
If you are still not happy with the size or font of the written text, change it as follows. Open the Window / Styles menu and in the pop-up window that appears, change the font, saturation, slant, and other text settings.
Step 6
To write text in a specific color, find a colored square on the top palette. Click on it and using a palette or an eyedropper (it can also be found in the toolbar on the left) select the desired hue and its saturation.
Step 7
To make the name written in Photoshop look more impressive, apply interesting filters to it, for example, make a shadow.
Step 8
To make the name written not on a white background, but directly on the photo, make the background of the inscription transparent. To do this, select Image / Trimming from the menu, then specify transparent pixels in the parameters.
