The PDF format was invented by AdobeSystems for transferring documents containing pictures, tables. Also, if necessary, you can convert a text file to a PDF document. You can open it on any device and from any OS. In addition, this format was specially developed for document management in companies. It takes up less storage space and is easy to block from editing by others.
Instructions
Step 1
First you need to install the converter. One of the best PDF programs is Nitro PDF Professional. Purchase it or download a test version. Run the application and follow its instructions. After installation, restart your computer.

Now you need to check the presence of the converter in the system. To do this, go to "Start / Settings / Printers". The printers window will open and see if there is a printer called Nitro PDF Creator. If it is, then the installation was successful.

Next, you need to make the print setup. Right click on the Nitro PDF Creator printer. In the drop-down menu, click the "Print settings …" submenu. The settings window will open. It will have a Save section. Specify the location where all newly created PDF documents will be written, as well as actions to be taken if files with the same name are found in the specified directory.

In the Compliance section, select a standard for the generated PDF document. In the Documentinformation section, enter the metadata for the generated PDF documents. Title - title of the document, Subject - description of the essence of the document, Author - information about the author, Keywords - keywords by which this document will be indexed on the Internet. In the Security section, you can set a password for access to the ability to edit and copy document data, as well as select the length of the encryption key.

In the Pages section, you can set options for document size and orientation. In Initialview, specify how the document will be opened to the user: from which page, how many pages on the screen, the location of the window on the monitor screen. In the Conversionquality section, select the quality of the generated document. The better it is, the larger the final file is, and the more it will take up storage space. If you ignore all of these settings, the document will be created with the default settings.
Step 6
Next, open or create a text document in any editor. The document can contain any static objects: text, pictures, formulas, tables and accompanying design attributes of all these elements. Save it after the last edit.
Step 7
Now open the File section of the main menu. In it, find the subsection responsible for printing. A dialog box for printing preferences will open. Select Nitro PDF Creator from the drop-down list of printers. Click the Print button. In a few seconds you will have your PDF document ready.
