PicPick program

Instructions

Step 1

Go to picpick.org, this is the official site of the program developers. At the bottom of the page that opens is the Download item, and below it is the Home Freeware hyperlink, click on it. A new page will open, find the Download Installation Package (from NTeWORKS) hyperlink on it and click on it. You will be taken to a new site (nteworks.com) where you need to find another hyperlink, Click here to Download now. Click on it and save the distribution package of the program to your computer.

Step 2

Run the program, after launching it will appear in the tray. Click on its icon with the right mouse button and in the menu that appears, select Program Options (or "Program settings" if the utility is already in Russian). To translate the program interface into Russian, select the About tab, select "Russian" in the Language drop-down menu and click OK. The program settings window will disappear, so open it again.

Step 3

Open the "Save" tab. If you do not want the image editor to appear after each press on Printscreen (or on the key that you have installed instead of it), check the box next to the item "Automatically save images". Also, do not forget to fill in the "Folder for saving images" field, this can be done manually from the keyboard or by specifying the path to this directory using the button with the yellow folder to the right of this field.

Step 4

Click the Keys tab. Here you can set hotkeys not only for capturing the entire screen, but also for its individual parts: active window, window element, arbitrary area, etc. In addition, the program has a lot of other useful settings. For example, in the "File name" tab there is functionality for setting the format of the original image, in the "Images" tab you can set the quality of the original images, etc.

Step 5

Open the desired page in Opera and click on the grab button that you set in PicPick. Further, two options are possible. First, the image editor will open, in which you will need to press Ctrl + S, and then save the screenshot to the desired location, under the desired name and in the desired format. Second, the image will be automatically saved in the specified location if you checked the box next to the item "Automatically save images", as stated in the third step of the instruction.
