Due to the fact that most games now have a degree of protection that does not allow them to be launched without the presence of the original disc in the drive, there are problems of how to share a new game with friends or let them play. In this case, we need to create an exact copy of the CD with the game, and a special program will help us with this, which does not just copy the information on the disk, but copies it in its entirety.
Instructions
Step 1
Use the Alcohol 120% program. To create a disk image, download and install this program, and then restart your computer for the changes made in the registry during installation to take effect. If you wish, you can immediately set the number of virtual drives - this will not be required in this procedure, but it may come in handy in the future.
Step 2
Insert the game disc into the drive. Wait for the autostart to start and run the Alcohol 120% program. Select "create disk image" from the menu and follow the further instructions in the dialog box. In order to minimize the need for repeated recording, enable bypassing all possible degrees of protection in the settings. This will slow down the copying process, but save you a lot of duplicate work.
Step 3
After you've created the image, remove the game disc and insert a blank disc to burn. Make sure it fits exactly in size. Wait until it appears in the menu of the Alcohol 120% program, and find in the menu "burn image to disk". Follow the further instructions on the menu. When the burn is complete, the CD will eject automatically. Now you can safely play one game on two computers.
