Instructions
Step 1
Launch Alcohol 120. If this is your first time running the program, you will have to wait a bit until it creates a virtual drive. Insert the disc with the game you want to run using the program into the optical drive of your computer.
Step 2
After the disc with the game is in the drive, in the main menu of the program, select the function "Create images". With its help, you will create a virtual copy of the disk that is currently in the computer drive. In the first window that appears, you need to make basic settings.
Step 3
At the bottom of the program window there is a parameter "Data type". Click on the arrow next to it. Check the box "Change data positioning". After entering the parameters, proceed further. In the next window, enter the name of the disk image and select the folder where the image will be saved. Then press "Start". Wait until the process of creating the image of the game is completed. After its completion, a notification window about the end of the operation will appear. Now remove the disc from the drive.
Step 4
Then, in the main menu of the program, select the "Search" function. Specify the path to the game image. Click on it with the left mouse button and select "Add". Return to the main menu of the program. The image with the game will be in the right window of the program, right-click on it. After that, select "Mount to device" in the context menu. The image will be mounted. The game can now be launched.
