Step 1
Launch the Alcohol 120 program. If this is its first launch, the process of creating virtual drives of the computer will begin. After that, a reboot of the PC may be required.
Step 2
After you find yourself in the main menu of the program, study the interface carefully. All basic functions are available in the left window. The most requested feature is the opening of virtual disk images. To open image files, you first need to add them to the program. To do this, in the left part of the program window, select "Image Search". A window will appear in which click "Search". After the search operation is completed, a list of all image files that are saved on the computer will appear in the window. Select these images and click "Add Selected to Alcohol".
Step 3
Now in the main menu of the program, in the right window, the images you have found will appear. To mount the desired image, right-click on it and select the "Mount to device" command. In order to open the mounted disk, go to "My Computer". Opening a virtual disk is the same as opening a regular disk. Click on the virtual disk drive with the right mouse button and select "Open" or "Autorun".

Another popular feature is imaging. With this function, you can create a virtual copy of the disk. This is very convenient, because every time you need to open a disc, you do not need to insert it into the computer's drive. You can simply mount it on a virtual drive and open it.

To do this, select the "Create Image" item in the "Basic Operations" section. Insert the disc to be imaged into the optical drive of your computer. In the next window, click Next. Then enter the name of the image and the folder where it will be saved after its creation. After selecting all the parameters, press "Start". The process of recording the image will begin.
