Often, when communicating in Skype and Mail Agent programs, you may notice that the sound is intermittently interrupted. There may be several reasons for this. The most important and most common one is the low speed of the Internet connection.
Find out the speed of your current connection by opening the following URL in your browser: https://speedtest.net/. If it is enough to make calls over the Internet (it is desirable to have a connection of 1 megabit or more), check if programs are running on your computer that in any way consume Internet traffic. For example, a torrent client, various updaters, and more. Also notice if any file is being loaded in your browser. Check the download schedule for operating system updates. To do this, go to the "Control Panel" and open the computer security settings. At the bottom, find the PC update setting and set them to download on schedule. Apply and save the changes, after which downloading updates will not use the traffic required for communication via Skype. Also, the reason may be the distribution of traffic by the router among different computers, on one of which the Internet can be used for downloading files and other operations. If you are using a USB modem, interruptions in the sound during a call are most common, since not all cities have a good quality of the 3G signal. In this case, try changing the location to the one closest to the tower of the operator being used or to any other place where the level of the signal received by the modem is higher. Also check the system load with various programs running at the time of the call on your computer - perhaps RAM resources and processor frequency are just not enough to maintain a normal conversation. Open the task manager and view the allocated memory and processor load; quit some programs if necessary.
