Lightroom is a utility included in the powerful graphics package Adobe Photoshop. With its help, you can edit the image and improve some of its qualities - for example, remove the graininess of the picture or any other shortcomings. The difficulty of using the utility at first glance seems to be that it has a different interface from the usual Photoshop.
Instructions
Step 1
Launch Adobe Lightroom and import the image you want to edit using the File - Import function. You can add entire catalogs of images for editing several photos at once or activate the automatic addition of images found in the file system of your computer.
Step 2
From the edited images, you can create entire collections, which you can start working with at any convenient time without having to import files first. All necessary added and edited photos are displayed in the "Collections" section of the program, which is located in the left central part of the editor window.
Step 3
Perform image processing using the appropriate interface functions. So, you can use the filters presented by clicking on the Develop button in the upper right corner. Use the Quick Develop panel in the center right of the window to change the color channels.
Step 4
You can also view your pictures in slideshow mode by clicking on the Slideshow button at the top right of the window. Finish editing by changing the color and applying the desired filters to the image. Review the result again and proceed to save the photo.
Step 5
Select the photos that you changed during the editing process using the Library section. Hold down the Shift and Ctrl keys of the keyboard, and then click on the Export button in the left pane of the window. Also this option can be found under File - Export.
Step 6
In the Export to field, select the directory where you want to save the files you want. In the window that appears, you can also adjust the save format, image size in pixels and overlay watermarks. Once the desired settings have been selected, click on the Export button and wait for the photos to be saved. After the end of the procedure, the modified images will appear in the directory of your choice. Saving your edited images to Lightroom is now complete.
