When working with text editors, sometimes errors occur in the file system of the hard disk, as a result of which a large amount of typed text is lost. No one is immune from these problems, so it is recommended to copy the typed text to the clipboard as often as possible. There are programs that allow you to memorize or pull out the contents of the clipboard.

Necessary

  • - microsoft office word;
  • - punto switcher.

Instructions

Step 1

To save the results of copying information from the clipboard, you can use the standard clipboard, which is included in the software package for any version of Windows operating systems. This program allows performing single-line actions, there is no possibility to save several copying streams in the clipboard. Therefore, a good way out of this situation can be the use of special programs or the built-in MS Word utility "Clipboard".

Step 2

It should be noted that the clipboard size is limited - MS Word can store only 24 fragments, i.e. at the 25th copy, the first fragment will be erased. If you keep copying the same text, this limitation is irrelevant.

Step 3

To start working with the MS Word clipboard, just press the key combination Ctrl + C twice (copy to clipboard). When performing the operation of re-copying a fragment to the clipboard, the program will remind you that the built-in "Clipboard" utility is running, which will track its state and save the copied parts of the text. It may so happen that the "Clipboard" panel may not appear (for example, it was disabled in advance), then the situation can be corrected in another way.

Step 4

Click the top Edit menu and select Office Clipboard. In the left part of the window that opens, a block will appear in which you can view all the fragments you copied. To remove this block and prevent its subsequent appearance when you double-click Ctrl + C, you must uncheck the item "Collect data without displaying the Office clipboard".

Step 5

To insert the desired fragment into the body of the document, right-click on the selected element. After this step, you can re-save the file as a copy to ensure that your document is saved reliably.
