To work with sound, there are a large number of specialized programs Sound Forge, Adobe Audition, Acid Pro, etc. You can use any of them to record sound, edit tracks, mix, create music, simulate various audio effects. Let's consider the possibilities of working with sound in Adobe Premier Pro.
Necessary
- - computer;
- - Adobe Premier Pro;
- - mp3 files;
Instructions
Step 1
Install Adobe Premier Pro on your computer, restart your computer. Open the program. Click File, Import in sequence. In the window that opens, specify the path where the mp3 files that you are going to work with are saved to computers. Import both files sequentially into the program. The program will place them in the Project window.
Step 2
Hook each of the files with the mouse and place them on the Timeline (the lowest of the program windows). Transfer files to Audio tracks. Depending on the task that you face, you can place these files sequentially on the Timeline (Audio), then in the original version the music tracks will go one after the other without a pause.
Step 3
Place one of the files on top of the other if you want the files to sound at the same time. For example, one of the files contains speech, and the other contains music that should be played in the background. To do this, place the speech file on the Audio 1 track, and the music file below on the Audio 2 track.
Step 4
Adjust the volume of both tracks using the mixer or alpha channel (yellow bar on the mp3 file, displayed on the Timeline). By lowering the alpha channel with the mouse, you will make the sound level lower, and raising, accordingly, higher.
Make sure that speech sounds a little louder, at a level not lower than -6db. Adjust the background music volume level in relation to the speech volume.
Step 5
Use Constant Power Audio Transitions for the effect of "blending" one file into another. To do this, place the files on one audio track sequentially, find the Constant Power transition, hook it with the mouse and place it on the border between files. By lengthening or shortening the transition boundaries, you can adjust the smoothness of the "flow" of one music track into another.
Step 6
"Calculate" the resulting sequence. To do this, click File, Export, Audio. Give the file a name and specify the path where it will be saved after rendering.
