It's nice when you have the opportunity to amuse your friends with a new ringtone on your phone. True, for this you need to trim the music file, which is not a difficult task, however. You can use the Adobe Audition sound editor to edit audio files.
Necessary
- - Adobe Audition program;
- - the audio file to be trimmed.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the audio file in Adobe Audition in edit mode. To do this, select the File menu, the Open item. For convenience and speed, you can use the hotkeys Ctrl + O. From the Workspace menu, select Edit view default.
Step 2
Determine where the section of the file you want to save is located. Press the "Space" button to start playback of the file from the current cursor position.
Step 3
Place the cursor at the beginning of the fragment that you want to save as a separate file and click the left mouse button. While holding down the left mouse button, select the entire fragment you need.
Step 4
Select the Edit menu, Copy to New. A new file will appear in the File palette, which is on the left side of the program window by default. Listen to the copied snippet. If it turned out that you copied more than necessary, select the unnecessary part of the audio file and press the Delete key.
Step 5
Save the trimmed file. From the File menu, choose Save. You can use the keys Ctrl + S.
