The Quick Launch is located on the left side of the taskbar. The taskbar itself is located at the bottom of the screen to the left of the "Start" button. The Quick Launch Bar is a convenient way to access frequently used applications, and it also saves space on your desktop. There are a number of steps you need to take to install the Quick Launch.
Instructions
Step 1
If the taskbar is not visible on your desktop, make it visible and fix the position. To do this, move the mouse cursor to the bottom edge of the screen, wait for the taskbar to pop up. Click on it with the right mouse button and select "Properties" or click on the panel with the left mouse button and press the keyboard combination alt="Image" and Enter. In the opened taskbar and start menu properties window, select the Taskbar tab and remove the marker from the Automatically hide the taskbar field, click the Apply button, close the window.
Step 2
Now that the taskbar does not disappear, right-click on it. In the drop-down menu in the "Toolbars" section, expand the submenu, set the marker opposite the "Quick Launch" item. Your Quick Launch is ready to add the apps you need.
Step 3
On the desktop, position the cursor over the icon of the application you want to add to Quick Launch. While holding down the left mouse button, drag the icon to the taskbar, release the mouse button, remove the unnecessary shortcut from the desktop. If there is not enough space in the Quick Launch (you have to click the arrow to see the next icon), right-click on the taskbar. In the drop-down menu, remove the marker from the "Dock taskbar" item and adjust the length of the panel. When you're done adjusting, put the marker back in place.
Step 4
If you want the application names to be displayed in the quick launch panel, right-click on the taskbar, remove the marker from the "Dock taskbar" field and right-click on the panel again. Select "Show signatures" from the drop-down menu. In the same mode, you can adjust the size of the icons in Quick Launch. Calling the drop-down menu of the taskbar, select the "View" item, in the submenu that opens, set the marker opposite the desired value - "Large icons" and "Small icons". Dock the taskbar.
