Sometimes unnecessary information is written to the disk. Its deletion is not possible in all cases, here you need to take into account what type of disc was recorded on. Also make sure your hardware configuration supports this operation.
Necessary
- - floppy drive;
- - the Nero program.
Instructions
Step 1
Find out the type of disc. It is usually written on the front or on the packaging. You can also see this option in the "My Computer" menu if the disc is in the drive. If CD / DVD-R is indicated there, then erasing files from optical media is not possible in this case. If CD / DVD-RW, then deletion is possible only together with the rest of the data. If CD-RAM is listed, then files from the disk memory can be erased one by one in the same order as from a flash drive or hard drive.
Step 2
Copy the contents of your disk to your computer. Start the Nero program. Select the type of disc in the drop-down menu - CD or DVD according to the name. Click on the item to delete data from optical media in the program menu.
Step 3
Follow the instructions of the system to delete unnecessary files or erase the disk completely. Next, create a new disc recording project in the same program. To do this, select the "Data Disc" item in the main menu window.
Step 4
Add the desired content to the project that was previously copied to your computer, excluding the files you do not need. Record. It is best to set a slow copying speed - this will improve the recording quality.
Step 5
If your operating system is Windows Vista or Seven, use standard optical media programs. To do this, insert the disc into the drive and go to the "My Computer" menu. Open the contents of the removable media.
Step 6
In the toolbar and settings, select the "Erase disk" item, before that, also having previously copied the data necessary for further recording to the computer. Wait for the end of the operation.
Step 7
Burn the disc using standard system tools - just select them with the right mouse button and copy them to the disc.
