Download the K-Lite Codec Pack program. This program is the most popular codec package for viewing a wide variety of video files and listening to audio. The program is released in several versions. Depending on the version, the number of codecs supplied with the program is different. Choose the best version for you, according to your needs. Install the program by observing each step of the installation and choosing the options appropriate for your computer.
Step 2
The installed program will constantly monitor its updates, and along with this, the codec updates. Make sure your computer has a stable Internet connection. Now, whenever you launch media files, the K-Lite Codec Pack will also launch and check for the latest codecs on remote servers. Any update of the program will be accompanied by notifications in which the program will ask which specific updated or newest codecs need to be installed.
Step 3
In order for the codecs to be updated more often, and their number was the maximum, install the extended version of the program. There are also paid versions of the K-Lite Codec Pack, but their capabilities are extremely large to use the program at home.
