In the early 90s, there was a need in the world for processing, storing and transmitting scanned printed publications over the network. Therefore, different companies came up with their own extensions (initially there was only PDF). In 1996, the djvu format appeared. Déjà vu programs save scanned printed matter into files that can be easily processed. Today, there is already a lot of software for working with djvu documents, so it will not be difficult to print the necessary pages.
Necessary
Computer, WinDjView program, DjVu Reader program, MS Word program, initial computer skills
Instructions
Step 1
Download and install the free WinDjView program. Open the file you need using the installed program (right-click on the document and find the "open with" tab, then select the "WinDjView" line).
Step 2
After the document opens in the program, select the "print" item from the "file" menu (in the upper left corner). When you are satisfied with the default print settings, click the print button. Next, the program will execute your command.
Step 3
There is also another way to print the document in djvu format. It is suitable for those who have a less functional DjVu Reader program (provided that Microsoft Office is installed). Open a djvu document with DjVu Reader. In the control panel at the top, find the icons (on a blue background) with a dotted line rectangle and a solid line rectangle that encloses a red ball. Click on these two icons and select the area of the page you want to print.
Step 4
Next, click on the icon in the form of two sheets with folded corners (the fragment is sent to the clipboard). Create a Word document. Right-click in it and select the "paste" command. Then print it as a regular text document with the extension "*.doc". That is, you insert the same pictures that are usually in jpg, bmp and tif formats.
