It is necessary
- - Printer;
- - cartridge;
- - colored ink;
- - paper.
Instructions
Step 1
Use the Paper / Quality and Color tabs for basic control over the selection of color printing values. Remember that depending on the software you are using, there are some differences in the names of the tabs, buttons, and attributes of the Properties dialog box.
Step 2
Open the Paper / Quality and Color tabs alternately in the Properties dialog box. Read carefully all the printing options that are offered by your particular printer. Each color printer manufacturer develops its own color printing capabilities. But, in general, the principle of choosing printing with color ink is almost the same.
Step 3
Determine for what purpose you need color printing, and select the appropriate printer settings from the appropriate tabs. Select "High" (or "Best") quality for printing high quality images. To reproduce the original colors when printing digital photos, specify the "Color Area", while the color ink is "mixed" to obtain a specific color. If you do not need to obtain a super high-quality image of color, select the print quality provided for this purpose: "fast", "draft" or "normal" ("economical print", "draft print", "normal print"). This will significantly reduce the consumption of color ink. Some printers offer "Ink-backup mode" using a single cartridge. If there is little or no black ink, set to print using the tri-color cartridge. In this case, colors are usually rendered, and black is rendered with a grayish tint.
Step 4
To print with the best quality color ink, in the "Paper / Quality" tab, select the appropriate paper from the "Type" tab, which will exhibit high print properties.
