Instructions
Step 1
Download Total Video Converter. With its help, you can not only convert videos to the most popular formats, but also cut music tracks from clips. Install this utility. Run the TVC shortcut that appears on the desktop after the installation of the program components is complete.
Step 2
After starting the main menu of the program, click the New Task button and click it. Select Import File from the drop-down menu. After opening the explorer window, select the video file that you want to change the format.
Step 3
Wait for the format selection window to start. Check the box next to Decode with internal decoder. Select High Quality video quality. Now find the Mpeg box and click the DVD Mpeg button.
Step 4
Select the movie quality from the drop-down menu: NTSC or PAL. After performing these operations, the name of the video file will be displayed in the Task List menu. Check the readings in the Profile Detail menu. Pay special attention to the Profile Name item.
Step 5
At the end of the paragraph, in parentheses, the video time will be indicated, which will fit on a standard DVD disc. If its value is less than the movie time, then click the Browse button in the Output Format field. Move the slider to the Norm Quality indicator. Click the Ok button.
Step 6
Now choose a folder to save the final video snippet. It is better to use the partition of the hard drive on which no operating systems are installed to place it. Click the Convert Now button and wait while the program performs the required operations.
Step 7
Burn the resulting file to a DVD using Nero or another utility. Insert the disc into your DVD player and check the quality of the recording. If the video does not play, read the instructions for the player and find out the formats supported by this device. Use Total Video Converter to create the desired file type.
