The operating system is a necessary element in the work of any computer. Now there is a huge variety of them, and basically everyone uses the Windows family.
Necessary
Multiboot disk with OS
Instructions
Step 1
Since the existence of a computer is impossible without the existence of an operating system, in parallel with the removal, we will touch the process of installing a new OS. A new OS disk is required. You can also record on the media with your own hand, any system you like. But you can also purchase a disc.
Step 2
The next step is to save all the necessary data from the system disk to another partition. Desktop files, information in the My Documents folder, and other information you need should be saved. Otherwise, the data will be lost forever.
Step 3
Install the boot function in Bios from the floppy drive. This is necessary so that at startup it is not the hard disk that is loaded, but the disk in the drive. We reboot the computer, go to the multiboot disk menu. We choose to install the OS. We follow the prompts.
Step 4
When the system installation menu appears, we can do two things. When specifying a hard disk partition to install the OS, you can select the item to install in the same folder as the previous system. This will remove the old operating system, but it will leave folders and files that will have to be deleted manually. Therefore, it is best to choose to format with NTFS. When formatting, all the data in the section will be deleted, so we saved it earlier. After formatting, the system will be installed. The old system will be removed. You can use programs to format disk partitions. However, in this case, there will still be a need to install a new OS.
