Sometimes it happens that you forgot to set the display of the date and time of the picture in the camera settings. This can lead to the fact that on your computer hard drive after some time there will be lost photos taken at an unknown time. But do not get upset ahead of time. The date can always be set in Adobe Photoshop.
Instructions
Step 1
Download and install Adobe Photoshop if it is not already installed on your personal computer. Run this application. Open the photo you want. To do this, click "File", then "Open". You can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + O. To date the photo, select the "Text" menu item. It's on the left, in the toolbar. Click on it once with the left mouse button.

Then click on the place of the photo where you would like to mark the date. A blinking cursor will appear. Enter the date you want using the keyboard. Below the file menu is the text attributes panel. Use it to change the font, color, style and other parameters of the text. Select the text before editing.
Step 3
Find the button on the left side of the panel to switch text from horizontal to vertical. You will need it if you want to place the date on the photo in an inconspicuous place vertically relative to the main image. You can also use the "Warp text" function, which will give it comic and frivolous outlines. To do this, click the button with the crossed out letter T. On the text attributes panel, find two buttons. One depicts a crossed-out circle, the other a checkmark. The first serves to undo the last changes, the second - in order to accept them.
Step 4
Save the file after you set the date on the photo. To do this, click on the "File" menu, then select "Save As". Enter a name for the photo and give it a jpeg extension, since by default all Adobe Photoshop projects are saved in psd format. If you are not satisfied with the position of the label, but you are satisfied with all the text parameters, you can simply move it using the move tool. Find it in the toolbar, then hold down on the text and move it to a new location.
