Activation of the commercial version of the anti-virus program of Kaspersky is required for the subsequent update of its databases. If they are out of date, the system will not be able to recognize the threat in time, and your data may be damaged or lost.
Necessary
- - browser;
- - Internet connection.
Instructions
Step 1
Activate the commercial version during the initial installation of the program. Enter the twenty-digit serial number of the product in Latin letters in the activation window when the system finishes the installation procedure. Be careful when entering characters from the keyboard, use only letters of the Latin alphabet and numbers, not forgetting to respect the size. If you enter an incorrect code, your system will display a corresponding warning. In this case, the license key will be loaded automatically. Thirty-day trial versions are also available for Kaspersky Anti-Virus, but they are available only once for one computer, but not for all versions.
Step 2
If you want to activate the antivirus after installation, open the main menu of the program and go to the license management item. Find the button for activating the program, in the window that appears, enter your license code received when purchasing the antivirus. It can be found on the disc packaging if you bought the program in a store, or it is issued upon payment, usually it is sent by mail. In any case, it is better to have several copies of its keys to reduce the time for product registration and obtaining a license.
Step 3
In the activation window, enter the required data - name, surname, country of residence, email address. When entering data, enter only real information and contacts. Follow the steps exactly as instructed by the system.
Step 4
Wait while the program downloads the license key, after which the program update will be available again. It is best to activate the application in advance, but do not enter a new key until the old one expires. Save the key to a Word or any other text file.
