It is not uncommon for users to delete important information from the hard drive. Sometimes situations may arise when entire partitions of drives are lost, and not individual files. In such cases, it is important to use the correct sequence of actions.
Necessary
- - Acronis Disk Director;
- - blank DVD disc;
- - Easy Recovery.
Instructions
Step 1
First, recover the deleted hard disk partitions. This procedure is carried out using the Disk Director program from Acronis. Download a disk image with this utility. Before downloading, read the description and make sure you can run the application in DOS mode.
Step 2
Write the image files to a disk drive. When doing so, follow the guidelines for writing multiboot DVDs. Restart your computer after inserting the disc into the drive. Run the program from the drive.
Step 3
Activate the manual mode of working with the application by selecting the item of the same name in the "View" tab. Examine the graphic image of the hard drive and find the unallocated area. Select it with the right mouse button and go to the "Additional" category.
Step 4
Run the "Recovery" option. Select the manual mode again, click the Next button, specify the deep search type and go to the next menu. Wait a while. The display will show the found chapters that were recently deleted.
Step 5
Select the required volume with the left mouse button and click the "Next" button. Now you need to start the partition recovery process. To do this, open the "Operations" tab and click the "Execute" button.
Step 6
After restarting the computer, make sure that the remote partition is now available for use. Make sure there are no lost files. If any were found, install the Easy Recovery application.
Step 7
Run the program and go to the "Search for deleted files" option. Select the hard disk partition that was recently recovered. Specify the scan options for the volume. Better to use in-depth analysis right away. Select the types of files that are important to recover.
Step 8
Save the found documents to another partition of the hard disk. If the hard drive is not divided into volumes, use an external drive to recover information.
