Since our country is multinational, sometimes it is required to use a language other than Russian in operating systems of the Windows family, for example, Tatar. To do this, you need to configure the system for the selected language pack.
Instructions
Step 1
During the installation of an operating system of the Windows family, it is recommended to use all language packs by selecting them in the corresponding window. Sometimes users need to print a certain amount of texts, not only in Russian or English, but also in others. The Tatar language will be used as an example.
Step 2
When choosing an additional language, do not think about the amount of free hard disk space used to localize the system. If you compare the "weight of localization files" with the size of the system itself, the result will be negligible.
Step 3
If during the installation of the system you did not select the option to install all languages, you must click the "Start" menu and go to the "Control Panel". In the window that opens, double-click the left mouse button on the "Regional and Language Options" icon. In this applet, you can change all the settings that are in any way related to languages: keyboard layout, default language, etc.
Step 4
Before making changes to the system settings, it is advisable to create a restore point. This application can be found in the standard programs section of the Start menu.
Step 5
In the applet window, left-click on the "Languages" tab, then the "Details" button. In the block of keyboard layouts, click the "Add" button. In the window that opens, select the Tatar language from the available options.
Step 6
To save the settings, click the "Apply" and "OK" buttons. Most often, a computer restart is required for the changes to take effect. Click the "Start" menu, select "Shutdown" and in the window that opens, click the green button on the far right.
Step 7
After loading the system, the Tatar layout will be active, like the others - Russian, American, Ukrainian, etc. But for typing texts, as well as printing them, you need to download the font files and install them on the system.
