It is not uncommon for users of the Windows operating system to encounter problems logging into their account. These problems are related to damage to the profile file itself, not user data, so it is not at all necessary to reinstall the system.

Step 1
Log in to the operating system using the temporary user created by the system. Go to the list of standard programs and select the "Restore the operating system" utility. Next, a new window will appear, telling you general information about the recovery procedure. Select the date of the last creation of the rollback point and perform the restore according to the instructions of the menu items.

Use an alternative method if System Restore does not help. You will have to create a new account in the control panel of your computer. After that, restart your computer and log in with an administrator account. Go to the "Folder Options" section of the settings, which is located in the control panel menu.

Turn on the display of hidden menu items and uncheck the "Hide protected system folders" item on the second tab of the window that opens. Apply the changes, and then go to the document directory of the user whose account is corrupted and unavailable for login.
Step 4
Select all files by pressing the Ctrl + A keyboard shortcut, then, while holding down the Ctrl key, deselect the Ntuser.dat.log, Ntuser.ini, Ntuser.dat files. Right-click on the marked items and select the "Copy" option.
Step 5
Open the directory of the current user, then select the "Paste" action. Replace the current folders and files while copying. Log out and log in as a new user.
Step 6
In the "Accounts" section of the control panel, select the previous profile and choose to completely delete it with all existing user folders. After that, you can rename the current user of the system, giving him the old name.
