Step 1
To do this, open Photoshop and upload your picture. This is done in two ways: you can choose File - Open or drag your image into Photoshop by simply holding it with the left mouse button.
Step 2
Now you can start reducing the size of the picture. To do this, select the Image menu item and then Image size.
Step 3
A window will appear in which you will see the dimensions of your image. For example, 4000 and 3000. These are the dimensions in points in width and height.
Step 4
Change the number in the first box (Width), for example, to 800. Click OK, and you will see how the image size has decreased significantly, while becoming less in volume. You will see the new file size at the top of the dialog box.
Step 5
After that, you just have to save the result. To do this, click File - Save as.
