Step 1

Call the main menu of the Microsoft Windows operating system by clicking the "Start" button to perform the procedure for determining the used TCP / IP protocol connections and place the cursor in the "Run" field.

Step 2

Enter the value cmd in the "Open" field and confirm the execution of the command for launching the "Command Line" tool by clicking the OK button.

Step 3

Enter the value netstat -ano in the Windows command interpreter test box and confirm the command by pressing the Enter function key.

Step 4

Remember the syntax for the console command you are using:

- a - display of all used connections and ports;

- n - display not aliases and DNS names, but actual numeric values of ports and IP addresses of connections;

- o - display of PID (Process ID) - digital identifier of the process using this connection or port.

Step 5

Identify the application responsible for the specific connection on the selected port and remember its identifier.

Return to the Run dialog and re-enter the cmd value in the Open field to define the required process.

Step 7

Confirm the execution of the command to start the Windows command interpreter by clicking OK and enter the value tasklist | find the saved_PID in the Command Line tool text box.

Step 8

Confirm the execution of the command by pressing the Enter function key or simultaneously pressing the Ctrl + Shift + Esc function keys to launch the built-in Windows Task Manager utility.

Go to the Processes tab of the dispatcher dialog box that opens and open the View menu of the top toolbar.
