The problem of blue stripes appearing at the top and bottom of the screen of a mobile device when installing new skins is familiar to many Nokia users. Fortunately, the task of removing annoying streaks can be done without too much difficulty with a single downloadable application.

Instructions
Step 1
Open the https://www.developer.nokia.com page of the Nokia official website in your browser and complete the registration procedure. This is required to download Nokia ThemeStudio, which is required to remove the blue bars from the top and bottom of the mobile device screen when installing new skins. The application itself and obtaining a key to it are free, but the existing time limit for using the trial version requires user registration.
Step 2
Download and install Nokia ThemeStudio software.
Step 3
Run the installed application and go to the Help tab of the main application window.
Step 4
Specify the section "Registration" and enter the login and password data used when registering on the site in the appropriate fields.
Step 5
Determine the serial code required to activate the application and copy it to the application registration window.
Step 6
Download the transparent background for installable themes from the Internet and specify the desired theme in the Nokia ThemeStudio application window.
Step 7
Go to the Idle tab of the program window and select the Idle Scree section.
Step 8
Insert the previously loaded transparent background fragment into the Background (idle status area) and Background (idle softkey area) fields and save the selected changes.
Step 9
Make sure that the main screen wallpaper is specified in the Idle tab in the Wallpapers (main) field, and the background wallpaper in the Default tab in the Background (main) field. This is required to display the selected wallpaper in all menus except the default grid of icons.
Step 10
Go to the Main Menu tab and select the Grid View item.
Step 11
Make sure that the background wallpaper of the selected theme is specified in the Background field (grid view) and save the selected changes.
