When using an unlicensed copy of the Windows 7 operating system, an issue may occur in which the system does not authenticate. In this case, the message "Your copy of Windows was not authenticated" appears in the lower right corner of the screen. This problem can be fixed without purchasing a licensed copy of Windows.
Instructions
Step 1
To fix this problem, you need to activate the operating system. Windows is activated by means of a special program called an activator. The activator can be found on the Internet or on local torrent trackers. Activation programs, as a rule, use activation keys of large corporations that use the Windows operating system. Please note that the activator must be as "fresh" as possible, as the consequences of the actions of old activators can also lead to the fact that Windows 7 will not pass authentication on the Internet.
Step 2
Run the downloaded activator. Some activators fix the problem "in one click", and for some you will need to set certain options, which, as a rule, correspond to the parameters of your operating system. In some cases, to activate the operating system, you will have to work with the reserved hard disk space used by the Windows 7 operating system. Carefully study the instructions for use of a particular activator.
Step 3
After activating Windows, be sure to restart your computer. It may take several reboots to activate. After the computer turns on, make sure the operating system is authenticated to the Microsoft site.
